A burning permit is not required for recreational fires that do not exceed 3 feet in diameter and are properly attended to.
To obtain a burning permit, contact Fire Warden Steve Herman 651-436-7614.
A permit will be issued for use through a period of time. Prior to each time through out the time period that you wish to burn, you are required to call the Washington County Dispatch 651-439-9381 to let them know that you would like to burn that day. They may or may not allow burning on certain days due to fire bans, wind, etc.
